PHTA volunteers cleared the Potomac Heritage Trail at Bles Park on Saturday, April 19, after two previous tries were snowed out. Bles Park is the green area on the map, along the shoreline of the Potomac River and Broad Run.  The cleared section is the turquoise line north of Point D on the map (about 3000 feet). Parking for this trail is at A on the map. On Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2 pm, the National Memorial Trail Alliance will unveil a map of a new trail connecting the three sites where lives were lost on Sept 11, 2001.
